As the glossy brochure says, Santorini is an idyllic place. Bright blue skies, crystal clear waters and iconic white buildings. The island is a geologist’s dream for if the layers of rock could speak they’d be telling you of the volcanic and seismic activities that formed the island that dates back to 2000BC. Santorini hangs above the Aegean Sea and has amazing views of the Caldera.
What brings people here is the amazingly consistent great weather, the incredible views, the unique architecture and the cosmopolitan atmosphere. It is a stunning place.
